  I have been going to Peak for over two years.
  Early this year I began Pilates to strengthen my core, due to a sore back.
  I HAVE STOPPED PILATES & WILL NEVER RETURN TO PEAK AGAIN.
  During a group Pilates class the instructor pushed me to "work harder" and never use the words "I cant" in her class.
  I completed the class & fulfilled all of her requirements. I finished by telling her it was extremely challenging for me.
  To cut a long story short I woke up the next day with an excruciatingly sore back where I couldn't bend forward; had shooting pains in my legs & calf muscles and discovered I had a herniated disc.
  In the meantime I have been taking pain killers; have not been able to continue with any exercise; I have not been able to work or perform many everyday tasks & I have had to pay for medications; physiotherapy & massage.
  I contacted Peak to discuss the issue & was told the instructor would contact me.
  That was 2 weeks ago and I am still waiting.....
  My advice about Peak:
  Be careful who you see and check their qualifications.
  If you find a task too challenging, don't be pushed into doing it.
  And Peak may not deal with your queries, problems & concerns!
